GirlsCodeToo is for everyone – whether you are just curious about what’s behind the screen of your phone, interested in learning more about technology or looking for some help debugging your code!

3D-printing workshop for Moms & Daughters 🌟
When? Saturday, 8th of November 2025 from 9:30 to 15:30
& Saturday, 15th of November 2025 from 9:30 to 12:00
Where? Unterrichtszimmer 2, Evangelisch-reformierte Kirchgemeinde Kilchberg, Stockenstrasse 150, 8802 Kilchberg
For who? Girls from 8 to 12 and their female role models – moms, aunts, sisters, or mentors!
What? Learn the basics of 3D printing and design software, how to create and assemble your own 3D projects, and how to use simple circuits and Arduino to make their designs come to life with light!
The courses are taught in German and English.
The Federal Office for Gender Equality supports this project with financial assistance. The full programme and link to register can be found below.

ABOUT US
GirlsCodeToo is a Swiss-based non-profit organisation, founded by a motivated team of industry professionals, professors, students, and parents.
OUR MISSION
We support and encourage girls to discover coding and explore a career in tech. We believe that girls are curious, capable, and creative. We work to encourage sparks of talent and curiosity by introducing girls to software tools, different coding languages and processes that are used to build apps, games, websites, and robots.
OUR GOAL
At GirlsCodeToo our goal is to close the gender gap in the tech industry and engineering universities while boosting the enrollment of girls in STEM-related education programmes and technical apprenticeships.
We provide guidance and support to girls in the following formats:
– Introductory coding workshops
– In-depth workshops in specific coding languages or technologies
– Workshops to boost confidence and interpersonal skills
– Summer camps
– Inspiring #TechTuesday talks by industry professionals
OUR WORK
DIGITAL DISCOVERY
Girls are invited to ‘Get Inspired with Tech!’ in a series of workshops focused on various technology topics.
These sessions are geared towards girls aged 8-18 with no prior experience. The idea is to give girls valuable insights on how software (apps, games, websites etc.) and hardware (phones, laptops, robots etc.) works and how is it developed.
TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOPS
These workshops are the next step in the girls’ tech journey – for those who wish to further explore and refine their tech skills. The workshops are taught by experienced teachers selected and trained by GirlsCodeToo.
